After a string of three wins, the Alhambra Bulldogs's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell to Washington 89-84. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Thursday (64), Alhambra still had to take the loss.
Alhambra's loss came despite strong showings from Geo Alber and Samuel Gillaspy. Alber scored 22 points along with nine rebounds, while Gillaspy scored 24 points. The match was Gillaspy's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nahom Delelu, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
Alhambra's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Washington, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.
