The Einstein Titans were the 68-61 winner over the Kennedy Cavaliers when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Einstein took a serious blow against Kennedy on Monday, falling 77-47.
When it comes to explaining why Einstein lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tekli Adhanom. Despite the final result, he scored 14 points along with seven rebounds. The matchup was Adhanom's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Donnelly, who scored 12 points.
Einstein's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Kennedy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Blair the next time they take the court. Einstein will host Blair at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while Kennedy will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on February 5th.
