Putnam won the last time they faced Academy of Science and Innovation, and Rhaiden Albino did his part to make sure it happened again. The Clippers blew past the Ravens 3-0 on Monday for which the team can thank Albino, who had seven digs and two blocks. He has been hot, having also posted 13 or more assists the last five times he's played.

While Putnam won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 29-27, 25-21.

Putnam is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Academy of Science and Innovation, they dropped their record down to 4-12 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Putnam didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Maloney on the 14th. As for Academy of Science and Innovation, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy on the 15th.
