The Pioneer Patriots fell victim to the Casa Roble Rams''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were dealt a 53-0 loss at the hands of the Rams. Pioneer's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Even if they lost, Pioneer's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Leading the way was Giovanni Perez and his two sacks.
Connor Campbell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Casa Roble, throwing for 310 yards and five touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes. Braylen Blevins also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Pioneer's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Casa Roble, the victory was the fifth in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.
Pioneer will be playing at home against Rio Linda at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rio Linda is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. As for Casa Roble, they will head out on the road to face off against Dixon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dixon is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
