The Bishop Ford Falcons couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a serious blow against Cobble Hill on Tuesday, falling 117-48. Bishop Ford was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 65-22.
Brandon Williamson went supernova for Cobble Hill, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Elijah Pickens, who scored 28 points along with eight rebounds.
Bishop Ford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Cobble Hill, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.
Bishop Ford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cobble Hill will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Bishop Loughlin at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th. Bishop Loughlin will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 325th, while Cobble Hill is ranked 93rd).
