Nelson never let their opponents score on Friday. They put the hurt on the David Douglas Scots with a sharp 11-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Nelson, who have now won six matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Nelson and bumps their season record up to 12-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for David Douglas, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.
