Fairfield not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 8, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Goshen Warriors.

Fairfield never let Goshen on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-22, 25-14.

Kennedy Ostendorf paced Fairfield's offense, picking up 16 kills. Ostendorf also shared the team's lead in assists with Rose Rodriguez: they picked up 15 each. Ostendorf was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Despite the defeat, Goshen saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Savannah Chun had 17 digs and two assists. Chun is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Fairfield now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Goshen, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairfield will square off against Lakota East at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Goshen, they will face off against Wilmington at 6:16 p.m. on Thursday.
