Sunbright waltzed into their game on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 40-31 win over the Rockwood Tigers. This was payback for Sunbright, who suffered a 54-39 loss the last time these two teams met.

Sunbright's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Garrett Rogers, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Noah Bunch, who earned nine points.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Michael Gibson, who put up nine points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Davidson, who had seven points and five assists.

Sunbright pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Rockwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sunbright will square off against Coalfield at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rockwood, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Rockwood Tigers duke it out with the Oliver Springs Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
