Even though the Blue Ridge Knights have not done well against the Villa Grove Blue Devils recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Blue Ridge walked away with a 64-54 victory over Villa Grove. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Blue Ridge.
Isaac Price continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Colin Michaels was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds.
Blue Ridge's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for Villa Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blue Ridge will take on Cumberland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Villa Grove, they will be playing at home against Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
