Meadowbrook Academy extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from IVA FEARON. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Countryside Christian Minutemen with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday with plenty of help from FEARON, who had 33 assists and three aces. FEARON is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season.

Meadowbrook Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Countryside Christian between 13 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-13, 25-16.

Meadowbrook Academy's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Countryside Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Meadowbrook Academy will host Bell at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Countryside Christian and Saint Francis Catholic Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
