Elkhorn won the last time they faced Hastings and things went their way on Friday too. The Elkhorn Antlers strolled past the Hastings Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 59-45.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Elkhorn to victory, but perhaps none more so than Peter Howard, who went 5 of 11 en route to 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nixon Farmer, who posted 12 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.

Elkhorn's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Hastings, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.

Coming up, Elkhorn will face off against Skutt Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on February 14th. As for Hastings, they will challenge Waverly at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hastings is facing Waverly at the right time seeing as Waverly is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
