Navarro is 2-8 against McCallum since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Navarro Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the McCallum Knights at 8:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Navarro comes in on four and McCallum on six.

McCallum posted their biggest win yet this season on Tuesday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 61-7 win over LBJ Austin. Given McCallum's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 650th, while LBJ Austin is ranked 1538th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
McCallum's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emy Chen led the charge by scoring 14 points along with three steals. Chen hasn't dropped below two steals for 17 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Shreves, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds.
Navarro's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for McCallum, their victory was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-9.
Navarro lost to McCallum on the road by a decisive 46-29 margin in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Chen, who scored 18 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Now that Navarro knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
