Chippewa Valley has won four straight games at home, while Fraser has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. The Big Reds will welcome the Ramblers at 11:00 a.m. Chippewa Valley's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so Fraser's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Chippewa Valley will bounce into Saturday's contest after beating Romeo, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Big Reds had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Big Reds in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Landon Simpson tossed a big game, pitching 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Alex Hall was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Caleb Sadowski was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Fraser earned a 4-1 victory over Port Huron Northern on Friday.
The team relied heavily on Jack Manzella, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Camden Townsend, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Fraser is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games. As for Chippewa Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 14-7-1.
Chippewa Valley skirted past Fraser 3-2 in their previous meeting back in June of 2024. Do the Big Reds have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Ramblers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
