The Bristow Pirates posted their closest win yet this season on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Sperry 47-45. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bristow.
Bristow's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Addi Alexander, who scored 16 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Morgan, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Bristow pushed their record up to 13-4 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Sperry, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5.
Bristow will head out on the road to take on Cushing at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Cushing will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 362nd, while Bristow is ranked 97th). As for Sperry, they will be playing at home against Berryhill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Berryhill is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
