Volleyball Recap: Olivia Sims Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Ringgold

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Carrollton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Olivia Sims, who had seven digs and two aces. That's the most digs Sims has posted since back in August. Avani Poolman was another key player, getting 13 digs and two aces.

When it comes to explaining why Ringgold lost, don't look at Kinsley Killingsworth. Despite the final result, she had nine digs and one assist.

Carrollton's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Ringgold, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-5.

Carrollton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against James Clemens on the 6th. As for Ringgold, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Calhoun on the 4th.
