Meanwhile, IDEA Frontier College Prep didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Lyford on Friday, but they still walked away with a 57-51 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for IDEA Frontier College Prep.
It was another big night for Victor Mendez, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 12 rebounds. The match was his sixth in a row with at least ten points. Ivan Garcia was another key contributor, scoring four points along with seven rebounds and four blocks.
IDEA Riverview bumped their record down to 0-1 with that loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for IDEA Frontier College Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season.
