The Sundance Bulldogs suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. They were the victim of a tough 60-40 loss at the hands of Big Horn. Sundance has not had much luck with Big Horn recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Big Horn's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Gibson, who scored 19 points along with five steals. Gibson hasn't dropped below 15points for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Adsit, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds.
Sundance's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Big Horn, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sundance and Moorcroft will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Big Horn, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wright at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wyoming (Wright is ranked 13th, while Big Horn is ranked 25th).
