Everything went their way against Rainier Christian as Evergreen Lutheran made off with a 49-27 win. Given Evergreen Lutheran's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while Rainier Christian is ranked 275th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Concordia Christian Academy is still winless after their contest against Muckleshoot Tribal on Monday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. Concordia Christian Academy fell just short of Muckleshoot Tribal by a score of 2-0.
Evergreen Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Concordia Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Evergreen Lutheran was dealt a bruising 70-24 defeat at the hands of Concordia Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2019. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Evergreen Lutheran was down 37-11.
