The Yuma Criminals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 59-20 loss at the hands of Paradise Honors. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Yuma in their matchups with Paradise Honors: they've now lost eight in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Paradise Honors to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaelyn Perez, who scored 17 points. That's the first time this season that Perez scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jocelyn Leal, who scored 12 points.
Yuma has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Paradise Honors, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Thunderbird the next time they take the court. Paradise Honors will host Thunderbird at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Yuma will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
