While Alexander might've come up empty on Tuesday, Connor Barnhouse wasn't going down without a fight. Barnhouse pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
