The Burncoat Patriots are on the road again on Thursday and play against the South Lancaster Academy Crusaders at 5:00 p.m. on December 28th. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Hudson scored an imposing 60 points on Wednesday, Burncoat still came out on top. Burncoat took their game against Hudson 72-60. 72 seems to be a good number for Burncoat as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Burncoat can attribute much of their success to Cheyton Marshall, who scored 15 points, and Jean Carlos Pimental, who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pimental has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Dunn, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, South Lancaster Academy took care of business in their home opener two weeks ago. They snuck past Gardner with a 54-48 win.
Burncoat pushed their record up to 3-0 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for South Lancaster Academy, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
