Even though the Perry Central Commodores scored an imposing 65 points on Friday, the Northeast Dubois Jeeps still came out on top. Northeast Dubois had just enough and edged Perry Central out 68-65. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Northeast Dubois also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Northeast Dubois' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Grant Goller, who scored 26 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Goller has scored all season. Adam Dooley was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with six rebounds.
Northeast Dubois now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Perry Central, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.
Northeast Dubois will head out on the road to challenge North Daviess at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Northeast Dubois focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday. As for Perry Central, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-45 loss vs. North Posey on the 10th.
