The Manchester Greyhounds will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Green Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on February 5th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Saturday, Manchester suffered a rough 56-32 defeat at the hands of the Indians.
Meanwhile, Green took a serious blow against the Titans on Thursday, falling 62-33. While losing is never fun, Green can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 500th, while the Titans are ranked 176th).
Manchester's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-16. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.0 points per game. As for Green, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
Manchester came up short against the Bobcats when the teams last played back in November of 2019, falling 58-51. Can Manchester avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
