Brock barely beat Stephenville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles blew past the Yellow Jackets/Honeybees 8-2 on Friday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Brock's 11th in a row) raised their record to 23-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Stephenville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-11-2 record this season.

Brock will welcome Prestonwood Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Eagles have won 12 straight at home dating back to last season, while the Lions won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Stephenville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
