They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 83-49 victory over Christian Family Academy. Winning may never get old, but Veritas Christian Academy sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Veritas Christian Academy was led to victory by Eli Robbins and Ashton Dillon. Robbins scored 23 points, while Dillon scored 35 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Dillon has scored at least a third of Veritas Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Phillip Guimares, who scored ten points.
Veritas Christian Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 38.33 points. As for Christian Family Academy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-1.
Veritas Christian Academy and Haywood Christian Academy will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Haywood Christian Academy is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak. As for Christian Family Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Challenger at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Challenger focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Wednesday.
