The Troopers have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, North Pontotoc lost 8-1 to Mooreville on Tuesday.

Mooreville's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for North Pontotoc, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Everything went Mooreville's way against North Pontotoc when the teams last played on Tuesday, as Mooreville made off with an 8-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Troopers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
