It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Wilmington had no problem doing just that  on Monday. They never let the Peoria Notre Dame Irish onto the board and left with  a   5-0  victory. The  win was nothing new for Wilmington as they're now sitting on 25 straight.
 Not much got past  Kyle Farrell, who gave up just  one  hit and racked up 11 Ks to keep Peoria Notre Dame off the board. Farrell has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than seven  strikeouts in eight consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Ryan Kettman was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Dierks Geiss, who  went 2-for-4 with a  stolen base and two  RBI.
 Wilmington's victory bumped their record up to 27-1. As for Peoria Notre Dame, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-11.
 As of now, neither Wilmington nor Peoria Notre Dame have any future games scheduled.
