The Schalick Cougars will head out on the road to square off against the Williamstown Braves at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Schalick and nine for Williamstown.
Last Friday, Schalick was the victim of a tough 59-36 loss at the hands of Penns Grove. Schalick has struggled against Penns Grove recently, as their contest on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Williamstown came up short against Gloucester County Tech on Thursday and fell 42-33.
Schalick has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Williamstown, they dropped their record down to 1-22 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road.
Everything went Schalick's way against Williamstown in their previous meeting back in February of 2016 as Schalick made off with a 51-29 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Schalick since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
