The Rehoboth Christian Lynx will take on the Gallup Bengals at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Rehoboth Christian's favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Gallup has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
Rehoboth Christian saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of Melrose by a score of 12-11.

Kodah Chapman and Trajen West were huge no matter where they played even without the win. On the mound, Chapman pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, West pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits. What's more, Chapman gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024. At the plate, Chapman scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4, while West scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5. Those three hits gave Chapman a new career-high.
In other batting news, Zach VanDrunen was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathan Zylstra, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Even though they lost, Rehoboth Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Gallup had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Window Rock by a score of 10-6 on Saturday.
Truitt Lewis was incredible, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. Keyshawn Boyd was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4.
Rehoboth Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Gallup, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.
Rehoboth Christian took their victory against Gallup when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 10-3. Does Rehoboth Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Gallup turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
