After flying high against the Park Center Pirates on Tuesday, the Chanhassen Storm came back down to earth. Chanhassen fell 76-63 to Prior Lake on Thursday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Chanhassen in their matchups with Prior Lake: they've now lost three in a row.
Chanhassen's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lyla Hentges, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kate Arnold, who scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds.
Chanhassen's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Prior Lake, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Chanhassen will look to defend their home court on Monday against Farmington at 7:00 p.m. As for Prior Lake, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Michael-Albertville at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. St. Michael-Albertville will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
