New Hanover is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing North Brunswick: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that New Hanover blew North Brunswick out of the water with a 48-17 final score. With the Wildcats ahead 26-4 at the half, the game was all but over already.

New Hanover's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Maleah Moses Braxton, who posted six points along with 12 boards and five steals. That's the most boards Moses Braxton has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Zirhe Sellers, who had eight points in addition to 13 boards and three blocks.
New Hanover was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Ashley played in conference for the first time on Tuesday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They came out on top against West Brunswick by a score of 44-37.
New Hanover better keep an eye on Jaeden Hudson. She was instrumental in Ashley's win, going 9 of 18 on her way to 26 points along with five boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Palyn Everhart, who put up three points and five steals.
New Hanover has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Ashley, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: New Hanover has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 31.1 boards per game. However, it's not like Ashley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 26.1 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
