Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Olympia walked away with it. They snuck past the Patriots with a 58-54 win on Tuesday. The Titans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Olympia's win came from a few key players Dr. Phillips will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ava Pazos, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 assists. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last 22 games she's played dating back to last season. Sasha Do was another key player, going 9 for 22 en route to 24 points.
Dr. Phillips is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.8 points. As for Olympia, they moved to 6-15 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
Everything came up roses for Dr. Phillips against Olympia in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 69-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dr. Phillips since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
