The Lincoln Park Railsplitters suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They were beaten by Carlson 69-37. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lincoln Park has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Carlson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brody Lavis, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Matthew MacBride was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Lincoln Park's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-4. As for Carlson, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10.
Lincoln Park will challenge Anderson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Anderson is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games. Carlson won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Allen Park at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Allen Park and Carlson are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
