Monrovia will be defending their home turf for the first time on Thursday when they go up against Don Lugo at 3:15 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Monrovia were fully in charge last Thursday, breezing past Alta Loma 42-7. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.
Meanwhile, Don Lugo found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-33 punch to the gut against South Hills last week.
Monrovia's win lifted them to 3-0 while Don Lugo's loss dropped them down to 0-3. We'll find out if Monrovia can add another positive mark to their record or if Don Lugo can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Monrovia's step.
