Grand Saline gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 42-41 victory over the Cooper Bulldogs. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.
Jett Taylor was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 200 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 117 yards and three TDs on only ten passes.
