On Friday, Socorro put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. Everything came up roses for them against Tohatchi as the squad secured a 50-0 win. With Socorro ahead 30-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.
The victory bumped Socorro's record up to 5-1. The loss dropped Tohatchi back to even at 3-3.
Socorro will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against Albuquerque Academy in two weeks at 12:00 PM. Albuquerque Academy took a loss in their last matchup and are no doubt out to reverse Socorro's good fortune. As for Tohatchi, they will face off against Thoreau. Tohatchi have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Thoreau are surely hoping to exploit.
