After having lost a blowout in their previous game against King's Christian, the Calvary Academy Warrior were happy to have found some success on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 61-45 victory over Cumberland Christian. The final score was a far cry from the score of their previous head-to-head, which saw the teams combine for zero points.
Caleb Arleth continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caiden Young, who scored 14 points.
The win got Calvary Academy back to even at 5-5. As for Cumberland Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Calvary Academy will be playing at home against The Pilgrim Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cumberland Christian, they will head out on the road to take on King's Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. King's Christian will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
