Smyrna added to the longest winning streak in AAA District 7 this week by beating Northeast, 35-13. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Smyrna was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting the Eagles. Matt Williams' team came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 36 last week.
The Bulldogs' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Matt Rodell threw for 135 yards and Taylor Gardner had 66 yards receiving. On the ground Ladarius Summers chipped in 91 yards. Summers helped Smyrna's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 45 yards.
