Dublin hasn't had much luck against Amador Valley recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Gaels are taking a road trip to take on the Dons at 7:15 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Dublin is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Freedom: they outscored them in every quarter. The Gaels put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 42-20 win on Friday.

Andre Armendariz continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 238 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry. Thanks to that big game, he is now up to 11 rushing touchdowns on the season. Rome Raymore was in the mix as well, providing Dublin with one TD.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Dublin proved: they limited Freedom to a paltry 3.5 yards per carry. While two picked up at least 12 total tackles, Tyler Gray stood above the rest. He picked up three sacks and made 12 total tackles (4.0 for loss). Dublin didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 9.6.
Dublin's defense didn't let Tah'Kai Edwards, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for six sacks. In that department, Gray was the leader with three. He is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in each of the last four games he's played. Dublin received some extra help from Raymore, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Amador Valley). They were the clear victors by a 49-25 margin over Foothill on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Dons' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 180th, while the Falcons are ranked 363rd).
Amador Valley's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Dublin, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Dublin took a serious blow against Amador Valley in their previous meeting back in October of 2023, falling 48-0. Can the Gaels avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
