The Richfield Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the Delta Rabbits at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Richfield will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
Richfield was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against North Sevier on Wednesday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 21-3 margin over the Wolves. That looming 21-3 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wildcats yet this season.
Kolbi Viers looked comfortable as she pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
