Basketball Game Preview: Union Knights vs. Oelwein Huskies

Union has gone 8-0 against Oelwein recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Union Knights will square off against the Oelwein Huskies at 7:45 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Union has three straight wins, Oelwein has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Union will bounce into Friday's game after beating Wapsie Valley, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Union blew past Wapsie Valley, posting a 77-44 victory. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Oelwein suffered their closest loss since January 16th on Tuesday. They fell just short of Jesup by a score of 55-52.

Union pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.0 points per game. As for Oelwein, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
