Booker T. Washington lost to Tallassee back in December of 2018, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Booker T. Washington Golden Eagles blew past the Tallassee Tigers 76-44. The Golden Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 20 points or more this season.

Booker T. Washington was led to victory by Marquez Daniel and Kenneth Moore. Daniel dropped a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds, while Moore dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 boards. Daniel's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kameron Tatum, who posted nine points along with five boards and three blocks.

Booker T. Washington smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Tallassee's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rowen Thornton, who put up 16 points. Sawyer Compton was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Booker T. Washington has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. As for Tallassee, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Booker T. Washington beat Tallassee by a score of 81-40 on Friday.
