St. Edward had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Larkin Royals on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Green Wave, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: St. Edward took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13.

St. Edward's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Larkin, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, St. Edward will be playing at home against Westmont at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Larkin, they will take on Schaumburg Christian in a tournament on Saturday.
