Despite their defeat, Galt saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jayden Gaither, who posted ten points along with seven rebounds and four blocks, was perhaps the best of all. Gaither is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted three or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Rose-Garcia, who earned 13 points and three steals.
Even though they lost, Galt was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.
Meanwhile, Argonaut came up short against Bradshaw Christian on Tuesday and fell 67-56. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Mustangs came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 426th, while the The Pride are ranked 862nd).
Argonaut's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-6. As for Galt, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-23.
