It was a good run, but the Bronson Vikings unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell to Colon 49-44. Bronson was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Colon apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2017.

Perhaps the best among them was Payton Springstead, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brealyn Lasky, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Bronson's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Colon, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1.
Bronson will face off against Portage Northern at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Bronson is facing Portage Northern at the right time seeing as Portage Northern is stuck on a 15-game losing streak. As for Colon, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-34 win vs. Climax-Scotts on the 9th.
