Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Gaston Day's offense. They lost 12-0 to Hickory Grove Christian on Tuesday.
Burlington Christian Academy pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Gaston Day, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
Gaston Day's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Burlington Christian Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .410. It's a different story for Gaston Day, though, as they've only averaged .130. Will they be able to contain Burlington Christian Academy's hitters?
