Dalton Walker Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Elkhart got the W thanks in part to Dalton Walker playing the best football he has all season. Walker rushed for 218 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 69 yards.
Buffalo's probably not too fond of Walker given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Walker saw the Bison), he rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also picked up 65 receiving yards.

Trystyn Tidrow Turns in Season-Best Effort
Trystyn Tidrow produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Elkhart to the win on Friday. Tidrow threw for 294 yards and six touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 47 yards. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August of 2023. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making eight total tackles and defending a pass.
This year, Tidrow has thrown 12 touchdowns while averaging 174.3 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.43 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 21 rushing yards.

Bryce Wallum Goes Supernova in Troup Win
Troup picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Bryce Wallum. Wallum was dynamite, rushing for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 107 yards and two touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes.
Troup pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Wallum and Troup will welcome New Diana on Friday.

New Diana Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Davyon Mapps
New Diana picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Davyon Mapps. Mapps did his part (and then some), rushing for 145 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries for the 'W'. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 112 rushing yards dating back to last season.
For the season, Mapps has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 127.5 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 79.17 rushing yards per game.

Wells Posts Huge Game in 50-6 Win
Troup picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Brett Wells. Wells did his part (and then some), rushing for 100 yards and a touchdown for the 'W'.
Wells must have Winona's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Wells rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries the last time he and the Wildcats duked it out back in October of 2023.
