The Odessa Tigers can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 71-58 win over St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse. The victory was just what Odessa needed coming off of a 89-48 defeat in their prior contest.
Despite the defeat, St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse saw an underclassman step up: Oliver Brewer scored 33 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brewer has scored all season.
Odessa's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Odessa will challenge St. John-Endicott at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in St. John-Endicott's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches. As for St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse, they will head out on the road to face off against Liberty Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
