Pisgah has won three straight games at home, while Franklin has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Bears will host the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Pisgah's hitters will try to repeat the strong performance they gave on Wednesday, when they got past Owen's usually-dominant pitching crew. The Bears put the hurt on the Warhorses with a sharp 12-1 victory.

Pisgah got a great performance from Sadie Messer as she struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. That's the most strikeouts Messer has posted since back in February.
At the plate, Lilly Inman was a standout: she went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mack Jones, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs.
Pisgah was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Owen only posted a batting average of .118.
Meanwhile, Franklin's hitters rose to the challenge against a Falcons pitching crew that boasted an average of only 3.6 runs allowed on Friday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over West Henderson.
Suzanna Cabe made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ashlyn McConnell, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Makayla Pendergrass was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Franklin is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Pisgah, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
Monday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Pisgah hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .412. However, it's not like Franklin struggles in that department as they've averaged .332. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Pisgah might still be hurting after the 7-0 loss they got from Franklin in their previous meeting back in March. Will the Bears have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
