Ravenna had to endure a six-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Southern Valley Eagles by a score of 53-42 on Thursday. The Bluejays' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Ravenna's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Southern Valley, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Ravenna and Anselmo-Merna will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th. Anselmo-Merna will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Ravenna surely won't give up without a fight. As for Southern Valley, they will be home for the holidays to greet Loomis at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
